Psychologists Protection Society

The PPS is a mutual, non-profit making society owned by its members, it is not an Insurance Company, it does not sell insurance - PPS provides members with assistance when complaints are received from clients. Although originally limited to providing cover for psychologists, members now include counsellors, psychotherapists, doctors, art, music, drama therapists and similar related groups practising in the talking therapies.  PPS has members from the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and throughout the world.

Benefits of PPS membership include advice by way of our telephone helpline, professional indemnity throught our mutual trust fund (NOT an insurance policy, indemnity is discretionary and is outlined in our rules) and PPS members as a group have a public liability insurance policy.
